Add a CommentTiger is big, Tiger is brave, and Tiger is not afraid of anything. Well, except worms! At the mere thought them, the comically cute cat squirms, shouts, and rails against them in an increasingly hilarious set of situations in which they might be found. Flowers, apples, and other normally "safe" things become potential breeding rounds for these terrifying creatures. Then in a narrative reversal, the worms themselves add their point of view. Like the other books in the Elephant and Piggy imprint, this book has the same format. Elephant and Piggy introduce and end the stoy, and the middle is filled with bubbled dialogue, character dominant illustrations, and a lesson naturally wrapped in gold-standard comedy. Higgins own style transitions perfectly into the early reader series. Of all the books in the series, this is one of the best.
